A Message From the Owner
Hi, I’m Matt — the owner of Pro Crawlspace Repair, and I’m also the lead installer on every job.
I’ve spent the last 15 years working in crawlspaces and basements across Northeast Ohio. I’ve seen just about everything — flooded crawlspaces, mold issues, rotted support beams, freezing pipes, and homes that were uncomfortable year-round because of what was happening underneath them. I’ve also seen how much of a difference it makes when a crawlspace is cleaned up, sealed properly, and done right.
Most crawlspaces were built with dirt floors and open vents. We’ve known since the 1980s that this causes moisture and air quality problems, but many homes still have them. The typical solution involves sealing off the vents, isolating the home from the ground below, and managing air movement correctly — but every home is different, which is why the first step is always an in-person inspection.
When I come out, I go into the crawlspace myself. I take photos and videos so you can see exactly what’s going on without having to crawl down there. We’ll talk through the issues, your goals, and your budget, and I’ll put together a clear plan with a fixed price. There’s never pressure to decide on the spot — my pricing is good for at least 90 days.

No high pressure or scare tactics (unlike the other nameless companies). They came in; respected my home by blocking/taping off everything; they cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job. My crawlspace used to creep me out, but now it’s bright and comfortable. In fact, this was first time I actually went fully into it. I actually booked another job with this company. Susanne Wahl179 days agoI highly recommend Matt and his team at Pro Crawlspace Repair. The before and after of my crawlspace is truly night and day. I originally called them because I had a terrible draft coming up through my floors and was worried about losing heat in the winter and the risk of frozen pipes. I also wanted to relocate my water main shutoff valve to a place where it would be easy to access if I ever needed to shut the water off while traveling or in an emergency. Their team cleaned out what looked like decades of debris from the crawlspace and then sealed everything properly. They installed insulation, a vapor barrier, and made sure all the joints and openings were sealed so the space is now protected and efficient. The crew was professional, on time, and did exactly what they said they would do. They also identified a few small issues while they were working and fixed them quickly. I always said I would never go down into my crawlspace, but after seeing the difference they made, I actually went down to inspect the work myself. That’s how much better it looked. I’m extremely happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Pro Crawlspace Repair to anyone dealing with drafts, insulation issues, or crawlspace problems.+5Posted on Google

Vicki Hamm226 days agoI highly recommend Matt and his team at Pro Crawlspace Repair! They removed mold, encapsulated my crawlspace, and added a new sump pump in the summer of 2024. Now over a year and a half later, the crawlspace is still bone dry, and the mold has not returned. I chose Pro Crawlspace Repair because, unlike some of the more established crawlspace/foundations repair companies in town, Matt didn't try to use scare tactics or bully me into buying his services. He calmly explained my options, and even found ways for me to save money (using my own dehumidifier that I had already purchased) to keep the costs lower. He gave me the lowest quote out of any of the companies I talked to, and so far his work has held up flawlessly! I've also had another engineer in the crawlspace, and they have remarked at how well the crawlspace was done - he said that everything was 'by the book!' Our crawlspace once an eyesore and a cause for basement living space humidity, smell and poor use of space, has now turned into a beautiful clean functional area for extra storage.
